before your first box.
What is specialty coffee?
Specialty coffee has a traceable origin and is carefully processed and roasted to bring out its distinct flavors. Kávéút helps you find your way through that variety.
Will I receive whole-bean coffee?
Yes. For now, we ship all coffee as whole beans. You'll need a grinder or an automatic coffee machine with a built-in grinder.
Can I request decaf coffee?
Cup Compass asks whether you're open to decaf. If you say yes, we may include one decaf coffee if it fits your taste. If you say no, all three picks will be caffeinated.
Do I need to enter my email address to see my results?
No. You'll see your three coffees and why we picked them first. We only ask for an email later, if you'd like to save your profile or get updates.
What does Cup Compass learn after my purchase?
Your ratings help refine your flavor profile. We'll let you know when a new coffee fits your taste. That doesn't place an order or start a subscription.
Will this start a coffee subscription?
No. Both introductory boxes are one-time purchases. There's no automatic subscription.
What if I don't like any of the coffees?
